Mobile Net
The mobile net has been rebuilt by Allen Robertshaw over the last few weeks and is almost ready to be used (if we can get a dry enough wicket!). The new cage which is on 6 proper wheels and has a new net was built by Allen in his own and looks like a sturdy proffessional piece of kit which (if treated properly be everyone) will last us a considerable amount of time. The funding for the net was found through sponsorships and a big thank you to King Cross Pharmacy who put an extra £400 towards it's construction
Finally, the club would like to publicly thank Allen for his time and effort in putting the net together. It is much appreciated by everyone at the club, and people should thank him when they get the opportunity. He has also saved the club £100s through doing this for us. Thank you.

Jubilee Party
The club are hosting a Jubilee Party on Sunday 3rd June from 12:00. It's £5 but U12s go free. Theres a variety of activities planned so put it in your diary now and invite friends and family. For more details see the Socials section of the website.
Here we will track all our fundraising in 2012. We recently got to £600 which has enable us to build a new batting cage. We are going to continue our efforts and track them here because we are looking towards the future and would like to raise funds for
permanent practise nets (~£20,000)
